Wisconsin Legislators Call for Federal Clean Energy Jobs Legislation: State Positioned to Boost Econ

As they work to pass clean energy legislation at the state level, 25 Wisconsin legislators
recently joined over 1,000 legislators nationally to ask federal legislators to pass comprehensive clean energy jobs and climate legislation at the national level.

"While states have taken the lead in the clean energy race, federal policies are needed to fully address the global problem of climate change," said Katy Walter, 1Sky Organizer at Clean Wisconsin.

"We're excited to see our state legislators not only working to pass the Clean Energy Jobs Act, but alsoencouraging their counterparts in Congress to pass federal clean energy legislation."
